At the behest of a black obelisk, the first rocker banged two stones together and hooted. Today's side deal allows you to participate in this historic ritual. For $62, kids ages 7 to 18 get one month of rockstruction from the Paul Green School of Rock Music's Denver campus (a $250 value). This deal is good for new students and soon to be guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocal heroes only. Enrollment is rolling and based on seasons, with each season ending in a student-designed rockstravaganza of immortal proportions. Past student performances have included Pink Floyd's The Wall, AC/DC, Best of the '80s, and Devo. This Groupon must be redeemed before May 30, 2010.
With the mix of high-mountain air; private, personal instruction from real musicians; and professional-quality instruments and equipment, your kids will be shaking the walls before long. In addition to weekly 45-minute private lessons, a month's tuition also includes a weekly 90-minute to three-hour supervised rehearsal (depending on the student's skill level and the group he or she decides to join) with other students and all the glittery, sequined clothes you can safely gaze upon.

The New York Times, the Boston Globe, San Diego magazine, and the Los Angeles Independent have all written about School of Rock locations around the country, and one Denver reviewer on Parents Connect yearns to be young again:
- The program is awesome. I saw the Paul Green School of Rock All-Stars. They are unbelievable. Wish I could take the lessons and play like these kids do. – Michael, Parents Connect
