Science Central teaches all ages about scientific methods with hands-on exhibits and activities. An admission-granting membership, which provides free admission to two adults and six children under 18, opens the learning shutters so parents and children can discover how to think scientifically. Permanent exhibition schedules rotate on weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays and feature a tidal pool, giant slide, moonwalk, the Mind's Eye Gallery of interactive puzzles, and the Prediction Gallery, which lets kids be pretend-meteorologists pretending to predict pretend weather. The current temporary exhibit area will be filled with Me–The Medical Marvel, 1,500 feet worth of brain kernels about blood, old-timey medical devices, nutrition, AIDS, and the relationship between height and the ability to spell, for the duration of 2010. The basic membership also consists of free or discount admission for more than 250 ASTC science museums, invitations to members-only events, and 10% off at the gift store. For adults, Science Central offers a huge amount of helpful amenities that make trips to the brain chamber as smooth as a glass vase covered in engine coolant.

About Science Central
Science Central opened its doors to the public as a science center and museum in 1995. The facility was once a power plant. Now, the large brick building with colorfully painted smokestacks, nestled between downtown Fort Wayne and a branch of the St. Marys River, has housed Science Central for 30 years. This year Science Central will open a planetarium and continue to deliver informal science education and entertainment for all. The museum has over 200 interactive exhibits(https://www.sciencecentral.org/explore/exhibits/), a cleverly curated gift shop, multiple classrooms, rental spaces, a demonstration theatre, and more. On the top level, oversized windows let in natural light while the building provides shelter from the elements making it the perfect location for rain or shine.
