What You'll Get

Learning about science in a museum is safer than experiencing it firsthand by accidentally ingesting a science textbook. Embrace science with today’s Groupon: for $23, you get two tickets to the “Body Worlds & The Brain” exhibit on display at Science World (up to a $47.04 value). This Groupon covers all taxes but does not include processing fees.

The world-travelling exhibit Body Worlds has captured the wonderment of global audiences, giving viewers an inside-look at the human body. The detailed collection’s population of real human bodies have undergone plastination, a process developed by Dr. Gunther von Hagens that perfectly preserves all organs and tissues of the specimen while allowing doctors to arrange it in any dynamic pose. Each subject is sans skin, exposing muscle structure, and bone formation. Part sculpture, part health lesson, Body Worlds also allows patrons will get up close and personal to smoke-damaged lungs and brain matter affected by neurological disease. Groupon customers can buy up to three Groupons, which equals six tickets, so bring friends or unsuspecting ice-fishing buddies.
