What You'll Get
The family dog is the only member of the household everyone loves, which is why it is lavished with Milk-Bones, coddled affectionately, and sent as a proxy to PTA meetings. Pander to your pet with today's Groupon: for $42, you get eight weeks of dog-waste-removal services from Scooper Trooper (a $109 value, including the $25 initial setup fee). This Groupon is only valid for Anchorage and Eagle River residents.
Scooper Trooper's weekly service clears lawns of refuse planted by Anchorage and Eagle River pooches. Enlist a skilled scoop jockey to abscond waste from al fresco areas surrounding a home or apartment and to reveal its carefully mowed portrait of Mike Ditka. Service stints commence with an initial 45-minute setup and cleaning, whereas shorter follow-up visits do not require homeowners to be present. Additional charges may apply for multi-dog households or those with particularly expansive yards.
The Fine Print
Promotional value expires Mar 2, 2012. Amount paid never expires. Limit 1 per person. Valid only within Anchorage and Eagle River. May redeem across visits. New clients only. Merchant is solely responsible to purchasers for the care and quality of the advertised goods and services.
About Scooper Trooper
Scooper Trooper's crew turns dog waste into solid gold—as well as other forms of legal tender. Noticing that "everyone owns a dog up here," the company launched in 2003 and quickly found success. Though competitors have tried to follow, Scooper Trooper remains a fixture in Anchorage's dog-waste-removal scene by dispatching crews year round to clean the yards of suburban homes, apartments, and condos, as well as the grounds of businesses, parks, and kennels.
