Glass-bottom cars allow man to experience paved asphalt in its natural habitat without disturbing the fragile pavement-cycle. Today's Groupon satisfies the rock-lookers who prefer panoramic sightseeing. For $125, you and a copilot can tour the Red Rock Canyon in a two-passenger scooter car with Scoot City Tours (a $250 value). With shuttles available from most major hotels, tours run twice daily and can be scheduled over the phone or online. Prospective drivers must be 21 or older and have a valid driver's license. Some height and weight restrictions also apply (see the fine print above).
Aching feet and backs can overshadow the breathtaking visuals of Red Rock Canyon, but a scooter tour lets visitors take in the sights without complaint. Scoot City's vehicles pack a purring four-stroke engine into their comfortable, three-wheeled frame. On the open road, drivers can manipulate aerodynamics, passing fellow members of their scooter convoy and harnessing the power of the wind to dry their inexplicably wet hair. With rubbernecking encouraged, your open-air seating ensures that you and your scootermate won't miss a glimpse of the surrounding canyon.
Just beyond the strip, the Red Rock Canyon is comprised of crimson-toned sandstone peaks rising out of the desert as high as 3,000 feet. Nudge your neighbor as you discover rock formations that eerily resemble the shape of clouds shaped like wizards and rocks. More than 600 species of plants call this area home, providing much-needed nourishment for adaptive rabbits and free-range turtles. With natural beauty and preternatural speed, this two-person tour allows couples to cozy up to the romantic scenery and gives visiting parents and friends a peek at the city's handsome landscape.

Scoot City Tours
Johnny Yeager originally ran a Las Vegas advertising and rental business. That changed after he saw the way people gawked at one of his company's bright red, three-wheeled scooters as it cruised through Red Rock Canyon. Beginning in 2008, Johnny experimented with using the little two-seater vehicles to ferry clients through tours of the Las Vegas landscape. Slowly, the visibility of the scooters along the Strip and at local attractions created a buzz among tourists. It wasn’t long before Johnny's advertising business had become a booming scooter tour service thanks to social media and a charismatic troupe of guides, all well-versed in the local hotspots and best ways of sneaking scooters into buffet lines. The little red scooters go on daily tours of the Strip and have also been joined by guided car- and van-borne excursions to Sedona and Red Rock Canyon.
