Q:

Not sure I worded my previous question right. I have a shoot coming up later this month. It is scheduled and paid for from a Bloodmspot deal you offered while ago. I was just wondering if I bought this Groupon deal, can I just apply the value toward photos/album I purchase after my photo shoot?

Stephanie O.  asked on  Dec 14, 2012

A:

Now we understand. No, this is not possible. This deal is for the sessions offered and can’t be applied for other deals/bookings. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Q:

I have already booked a session previous to this Groupon deal. My question is can purchase the Explore Your Shades deal and just apply the value ($675) toward photo purchases after my shoot?

Stephanie O.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

A:

Thanks for the question Stephanie. Assuming that your previous session was an older Groupon deal that had explore, effectively you have a credit with us, basically the cash value of the older deal. So if it was the Groupon deal you would have a $49 credit. This cannot be applied to another deal like this, however it can be applied to prints, albums, boxes etc that are purchased after the session. So the best thing for you to do would be to purchase either one of these sessions and then use the $49 as a credit for prints etc. To read more on the deal and other questions please see the Q&A here - http://seattleboudoirphotography.com/2011/11/28/2012-groupon-qa/ Many thanks

Q:

What size photographs are included in the 9x9 folio? Also, what would be the cost of buying 4 prints with the peak of shades package? Thanks!

Sara J.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

A:

Thanks for the questions Sara. The two photographs are sized 5x7. We are a full service studio offering various photo products to showcase your photos. Photo product pricing varies by product, style, and sizing, but here is some general pricing to give you an idea: Prints start at $75 for an 8×10 photo, custom calendars start at $495, hard bound albums start at $595, boudoir boxes start at $695, and photo framed & wall pieces start at $195. You can find more info on this deal here --- http://seattleboudoirphotography.com/2011/11/28/2012-groupon-qa/ Many thanks

Q:

As a girl who wears glasses and is blind w/o them, can I leave them on during the photo shoot? Or does the photographer find them hard to work with? Also it was mentioned in a reply earlier, that digital prints for purchased photographs can be bought for an additional $20 each, does that include the 2 that come with the Explore Your Shades package? Thank you.

Grace C.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

Thanks for the note Stephanie. You can for sure wear your glasses. When we have ladies that wear glasses we like to get shots both with and without to give you a little bit of variety. We would recommend scheduling a consult before your session and we can take some test shots to see how much flair comes with them. Depending on the results we might need to play around with your actual session time to get the best lighting conditions. As for the additional digital copies, yes, they can be purchased for any print product purchased. I hope this helps.

Q:

The Explore your shades pkg comes with the 2 9x9 folio prints. I know you recommend that if you want additonal prints to buy the Peek of Shades pkg. Can you order additional prints with the Explore shades even though they come with the 2 already?

Marnie C.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

Hey there Marnie, thanks for the question. Yes, you can order as many photographs in whatever format you like. Although many clients come in only expecting to like a few photographs, rarely (if ever) does that happen. We can work with you to design ways for you to enjoy your photographs. We typically find that most clients choose anywhere from 8 photographs to many many more. One really cute husband ended designing an album with 40 photographs because he knew his wife would never do this again ;)

Q:

I was wondering about the prints that you get after the session? Do you put them on a cd and give them to us afterwards so that if we wanted to print them off or make our own book we could? When I got married, I know we got the cd of photos from our photographer, and we were able to do what we wanted with them. I read through the Q&A page, and I couldn't figure out what exactly you all did with these. If you do give the cd of pictures, how much does it cost? I am not sure I would want to print them off right away so that's why I'm asking. Thanks.

Hey there. Thanks for the question. The Peek of Shades, the $149 priced offer comes with no prints. The Explore your Shades, the $249 priced offer comes with a silk folio with two photographs. All additional photographs are purchased after the session. We are a full service studio offering various photo products to showcase your photos, or web site has a number of photographs of the products we offer. In additional to prints we have a number of digital options for you to consider. Our most popular is our Silver Screen which is a digital version of an album with the photographs playing as a video set to the music of your choice; this is priced at $895. We often get requests from models who want high resolution electronic files and we have a model package that includes 10 high resolution files for $1000. We also just released our new Boudoir to Go application that works on iPhone’s, iPad’s and other mobile devices and that is priced at $195. Lastly for any photograph that is purchased in an album, box, prints etc., we also offer digital copies for $20/each. Hopefully this helps with some of the product options.

Q:

I was interested in your " Peak of Shades" Groupon package. I didn't see it mentioning the actual photograph print? Is that included in the $150? If so what size? Do you have a choice of Glossy or Matte? Does it include a digital copy? When do you receive the print? Thank You

Genesis M.  asked on  Dec 10, 2012

A:

Thanks for the question. The ‘Peek of shades’ session is for the photo session only, there are no prints included. This is for a client that isn’t sure what they want to buy after their session. For details on our print pricing please see this Q&A - http://seattleboudoirphotography.com/2011/11/28/2012-groupon-qa/ Many thanks
