I am not going to be offering Low Acid Canning/Pressure Canning until late next Spring. The cost of this Groupon could be applied to the next Pressure Canning class but the Promotional Value may be expired.

What is the difference between Intro to Canning with Fruit and Intro to Canning with Jam?

A:

The differences between canning nice fruit and making well-set jams require slightly different skills. Either class is fine for someone getting started in canning.

Do you teach how to use a pressure cooker to can?

These classes are for Water Bath Canning. After class you will be able to use the same practices to also use a pressure canner.

This is a "Lecture and Demo" class that will prepare you do do all sorts of projects including fruit, tomatoes, pickles, jams and jellies.

Do you have the classes on weekdays or weekends? What are the class times for Jam & Jellies?

I have Saturday classes and weekday evening classes. Saturday classes meet at 11am, 1pm and 3 pm. Sunday classes meet at 3pm. Weekday evening classes meet at 6pm.
