The SFO returns to Town Hall for a spring concert with soloist Eric Jacobs, the newly appointed clarinet and bass clarinet of the Seattle Symphony. With conductor Wesley Schulz at the podium, Jacobs and the Seattle Festival Orchestra are set to take on Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A major, one of the composer's final works. Also on the bill is Johan Wagenaar's overture to Cyrano de Bergerac from 1905, and Schubert's Symphony No. 4 in C minor, which he created at the tender age of 19, but which didn't premiere until well after his death.
Running time is approximately 2 hours.
Children under the age of 5 or whom cannot remain quiet during the performance are discouraged from attending.
