Loved the tour and how much the caretakers care for the animals. We enjoyed a picnic in the covered patio area afterward. Was a great time for our group!

Great place to visit! Loved seeing all the big cats and other wild animals. They were all very active unlike what you see in most zoos. I would definitely go again.

Amazing time here with the family!! You can upgrade to the safari tour from the Groupon for $10 per ticket which is worth every penny. 3:30pm tour is the best since you’ll get to see the big cats eat. Just make sure you take a a screen shot or print out your voucher before arriving since they have no cell service or public WiFi, else you’ll have to drive 8 miles east to get service to pull things up on the app.

Totally cool place to visit! Would get the keep your again. We got the total scoop on all the animals with our awesome guide Nicole! My kids really loved this! We were up close and personal with nearly all the animals! Be sure and print the voucher before you go... there is no cell service in the area to pull it up on your phone!

One needs to go during feeding time. After they eat, they lay down and that’s it.

About Keepers of the Wild Nature Park

Keepers of the Wild Nature Park founder Jonathan Kraft has always loved animals. As a child in Holland, he rehabilitated and released injured birds every winter. When he became a magician performing grand spectacles in Vegas, his affinity for animals led him to raise two baby tigers to integrate into his act, then eventually acquire and train more big cats. At first Kraft didn’t see the connection between his chosen career and the prevalence of animal mistreatment, but gradually he began to realize how cramped, stressed, and unhealthy his peers’ animals tended to be. His first steps toward rescue weren’t ideal—he didn’t have the space to give each animal the sprawling habitat it craved. So the next step was Keepers of the Wild a place designed to rescue exotic creatures from inhumane conditions and let them roam both safely and freely.

The center, located on historic route 66, now hosts more than 130 animals that include lions, tigers, leopards, and monkeys. Walking and hiking trails lead to enclosures where cougars lie in the sun or wolves trot between bushes. Plenty of lookouts offer photo ops or a chance to spy on capuchin monkeys’ poker games. Visitors can explore the grounds on their own or hop on a guided tour, where they’re shuttled to various habitats and can watch the predators feed.
