Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

Is there a select list of frames that we can chose from? Can I use this in conjunction with any applicable discounts associated with my vision insurance?

Adam R.  asked on  Feb 18, 2013

A:

You would need to contact the location of interest regarding selection. It is not valid with insurance or other discounts.

George  from  Groupon  replied on  Feb 18, 2013

A:

Hi Adam! Any SEE frames are eligible for this groupon, as long as you're getting prescription lenses. Old Orchard in Skokie, and Water Tower carry a few frames by other designers which are not eligible for this Groupon, but the majority of our selection is up for grabs. Thanks!

Q:

Can I use this for bifoca... just kidding, that's been asked like a billion times. Seriously though, can this voucher be used at any SEE location (I live in cbus) or just the ones in Chicago? I have a voucher from Yelp which the special promotion (which was like a groupon) has expired (except for the $60 I paid, which never expires) since it's just back to the money I paid, and not the special deal, may I combine it with my Groupon (please say yes!)

Kate C.  asked on  Feb 20, 2013

A:

Hi Kate! Yes, you can use this Groupon at any of our locations across the country! Unfortunately because the Yelp deal, even if it's just the $60, is still a discount it can't be combined with Groupon. Sorry!

Q:

What is the price range for ultrathin lenses and also for antiglare? I'd love to get a new pair of glasses, but all these necessary additions for my very strong prescription make me generally unwilling to buy new pairs (even when I need them).

Ji K.  asked on  Feb 19, 2013

A:

Hi Ji, We suggest you contact one of the stores so they can pull up pricing that will be specific to your needs! Thanks!

Q:

I previously purchased a groupon deal for See eyewear and never used it, would I be able to use it on this deal?

Barb P.  asked on  Feb 20, 2013

A:

Hi Barb, If you previously purchased a Groupon, it would have an expiration date on it. If it has already expired, you can still receive a discount for the amount you paid, though you would no longer receive $200. That Groupon cannot be combined with this current one. They're two separate deals. Thanks!
