Q:

Would I be able to have clear lenses that do not have a prescription? I would like a pair to wear as fashion glasses (I have 20/20 vision so do not need a prescription).

Abigail A.  asked on  Jun 21, 2013

A:

Hi Abigail! Yes. You can pick out any frame in the store and have non-Rx lenses made (the price listed on the frame includes the cost of a single vison or non-precription opthalmic lens). You can’t buy a frame off the shelves as is, that would be considered a “frame only” and this offer doesn’t apply to frame only or lens only orders – only full pair purchases (frame and lenses). Now, if the frames you pick out are more than $200 or you decide to get anti reflective coating, a tint, transitions, etc. you would be responsible for the difference between the total cost and the discounted amount of the Groupon ($200). Thank you!! Alanna

Q:

Which designer frames are being referred to when you say that the deal is "not valid toward designer frames?"

Michael Z.  asked on  Jun 19, 2013

A:

Hi Michael, All of the frames in our Georgetown store are our own brand (SEE), we mentioned the "designers" because we have two stores in the Chicago area that carry typical designers like Chanel and Gucci. Thanks, Susan

Q:

...so if I have a prescription for trifocals, I can pay the cost for the prescription lenses and use the groupon towards the frames, correct?

Lynn W.  asked on  Jun 14, 2013

A:

Hi! The Groupon is valid toward a complete pair (frame and lenses), so you could add trifocals to one of our frames and pay the difference between the total and the $200 Groupon. Thanks!

Q:

With the $200 voucher is there a pair of prescription sunglass I could purchase for that amount? If not, how much more would it be out of pocket?

Brooke B.  asked on  Jun 14, 2013

A:

Hi Brooke! Our non-prescription sunglasses are $99 and not part of the Groupon offer, HOWEVER, if you add a single vision prescription sun lens to a pair it IS part of the offer and would be $198. That price may change if you add polarization, need a multi focal lens, etc. Thanks! Susan

Q:

What if you don't know your prescription? Is it assumed that you would also need an eye exam (at an additional cost?)?

Caron S.  asked on  Jun 14, 2013

A:

Hi Caron, That is correct. You will need a current prescription for us to make your glasses. Thanks! Susan
