Q:

How long is the downtown tour? Thanks

Lawrence W.  asked on  Jan 17, 2013

A:

Hi Lawrence, The Groupon deal for downtown is for our NEW X2 (Off-Road Segway) Urban Alley Tour which is a 1 1/2 Hour Experience. We do offer other tours that are 1 hour, 2 hours, or 2 1/2 hours long but these are not part of the Groupon offer.

Q:

What would be the price for the downtown San Antonio tour for three riders? Also can one of the riders be 12 years old, if accompanied with his mother?

John R.  asked on  Jan 16, 2013

A:

Hi John, If you are referring to the X2 tour we are running the groupon deal for you could purchase a $39 deal for one and a $75 deal for 2, this would cover the 3 riders. Taxes and a 15% grauity are additional to the voucher cost. We will allow riders that meet the 100 lb weight requirement to ride with a parent or guardian over 18 on the tour. Since it is had to ID kids at that age we will accept them if they meet the 100 lbs for safety purposes.

Q:

I want to buy this for my husband, myself and 2 friends (4 total) and we all want to go on the tour together. Do I buy 2 groups of 2 or do I have to "buy one for a friend"?

Lorrie  asked on  Jan 16, 2013

A:

Hi Lorrie, It sounds as if you are treating your friends to a Segway tour so I believe Groupon would want to have you purchase the second deal for a friend We are ok with you bringing 2 vouchers, each valid for 2 people and going on the same tour, there would just be a 15% grauity and tax that is not included.

Q:

If the deal expires on March 14, can I schedule for a tour after March 14th?

Crystal H.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

Hi Crystal, Your the promotional value will EXPIRE on the date specified in the offer, which is March 14th 2013. The amount paid WILL NEVER EXPIRE and can be applied to a tour post the expiration date. So in this case if you purchase a $39 voucher or a $75 voucher and you use it after March 14th it is worth exactly those amounts as opposed to their promotional values of $79 or $158.

Q:

We have three children we would want to take with us. Can one child ride with the adult? He is 10. We would not exceed the 300 hundred pound limit.

Brooke B.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

Hi Brooke, We require riders to be a minimum of 100 lbs to ride a Segway. The Segway is a personal vehicle meant for only one rider so doubling up is not an option for safety purposes. The 300 lbs limit is for one rider only. The weight requirement is to ensure the rider can safely operate the Segway.
