What You'll Get

Canadian DJ Kid Koala teams with a talented team of puppeteers and the Afiara String Quartet for a thrilling stage adaptation of Nufonia Must Fall, the 2003 graphic novel he wrote and illustrated. Equal parts cinema, theater and concert, this immersive multimedia performance brings the book's tale of a lonely office girl and an out-of-work robot to life across an array of miniature sets on the stage at the Segerstrom Concert Hall. Meanwhile, a film directed by renowned production designer KK Barrett (Her, Being John Malkovich) screens simultaneously, and it's all scored majestically by the string quartet and Koala's dexterous work on the piano and turntables.
