Q:

What happens if there is rain, freezing cold, or other inclement weather at the time of my reservation?

n w.  asked on  Dec 1, 2012

A:

We go out rain or shine, hot or cold. Most groups that travel to Dallas are only in town for a short time, so they will dress warmly in the cold and we provide panchos for rain. If you book a tour and the weather looks like it may be something you don't want to go out in, just call us the day prior to reschedule and we will be happy to accomodate the change. Please call us at 214-983-6225 for any other questions, and we have reservation specialists standing by from 9AM to 7PM daily! Thanks

Q:

What are the age limits? I have 2 boys, ages 11 and 13. Thanks for your reply.

Shirley B.  asked on  Nov 30, 2012

A:

Our minimum age is 14 years old due to city and insurance restrictions. So sorry for the inconvenience.

Q:

Just to clarify- for this $35 price, I can buy 4 tickets and get the executive tour? And book it up to a year from now?

Charmaine S.  asked on  Nov 30, 2012

A:

Yes, each voucher is good for one person for the tour, and they are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. The exact expiration date will be on your voucher.

Q:

Two questions: 1. Can a forth month's pregnant woman take a segway tour (considering she had been on one in the past and managed it very well)? 2. How many participants, in average, do you usually have in a tour? What would be the max number of people for a tour? Thanks!

Galia R.  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

Thank you so much for your inquiry. Unfortunately, our insurance carrier will not allow us to take pregnant women on our Segway tour. The good news, however, is that these Groupons are valid for an entire year. Our maximum we can take at one time is 6, and our average is 4-6 guests.

Q:

When does this Groupon expire? And how many can I buy as gifts?

Maureen M.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

A:

You can buy as many as you like. The expiration is one year from the end of the deal, so December 1st 2013.

Q:

If I received as a gift and don't make the weight requirement can I get a refund?

Shannon A.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

A:

The person who purchased the Groupon would have to be refunded through Groupon as they are the one that paid for it. We would not refund directly as we are not paid 100% of the voucher amount, as Groupon takes a percentage split. You can always call Groupon customer service and they may be able to help you with that.

Q:

I don't see any mention of the City Lights Ghost Tour in Dallas or when it might be offered on the merchant's website. This is the tour I would want to do. Will this be offered and when?

Dena R.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

A:

Groupon included descriptions for our San Antonio tour "City Lights Ghosts Tour" that we offer down there..... The Groupon is good for 3 types of tours in Dallas, Texas that are offered 5 times daily. They are valid for the 2.5 hour Executive tour, the 1.5 hour Ride It tour, and the 1 hour Fun Run. Our tour schedule is listed here. http://www.nationtours.com/dallas/segway.php .... Sorry if there was a bit of confusion.

Christopher S.  from  Self  replied on  Nov 27, 2012

Q:

Which tours is the groupon available for? It says pick from 3 and it looks like you have more than 3 tour types. Also - is there an advance reservation required and how far in advance? Seen some really bad ones (e.g. 2 weeks) on these offers.

Paul M.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

A:

We do require a weeks advance notice for reservations. Sorry if this is an inconvenience to you, however, we usually book up about a week in advance. Also, the tours are available 5 times daily. A 2.5 hour tour at 9AM, a 1.5 hour tour at Noon and 2PM, and the 1 hour tour at 4PM and 5:30 daily

Christopher S.  from  Self  replied on  Nov 27, 2012

Q:

Is this applicable for the one in San Antonio?

Ai-Mi N.  asked on  Nov 26, 2012

A:

Thanks so much for your inquiry! Because our San Antonio office is under different management than our location in Dallas, you can reach their reservation specialists at 210-441-1198 and they'll be able to answer any questions about scheduling. With advanced notice, we try to be pretty flexible. They can also work out the same special pricing for you upon mentioning the Groupon Deal for Dallas, in case you had not yet purchased the certificates.
