Please forgive my ignorance on laser procedures but I have limited experience which leaves me with a couple of questions. I have had laser therapy on my face in the past for freckles & sun damage at the same time that I had spider vein treatment for my legs. The laser tech explained that she couldn't use the cooling air on my face like she was able to do on my legs because the heat generated from the laser was imperative for pigment removal. Because of that, it was so uncomfortable I swore I'd never do laser on my face again. But then my freckles all fell off a week later & the results were fantastic! So I'd love to try it again if the same results can be obtained with this photofacial? I wanted to clarify that the cooling probe can be used on the face & that it does not impede the effectiveness at removing hyperpigmentation? Thanks!

IPL works on the same principal as a laser, but uses a filter to only reach the depth of the skin we want. IPL usually takes a series of treatments for results and we do have a cooling plate on our device. Most people find IPL much more pleasant the a laser. Individual results vary and without seeing your skin, I can't tell you you will get the same results as previously. Hope this helps answer your questions. Thanks.
