Wine made with Capay Valley–grown grapes; trees grown in Mediterranean conditions produce olive oil; boldly flavored wildflower honey
Guests taste wine, olive oil, and honey produced at Séka Hills Olive Mill and Winery or in conjunction with other local creators.
The forests, rolling hills, and open fields of the Capay Valley are more than just pretty scenery. The California's Delta's cool breezes and rich soil are also perfect for the cultivation of olive trees, vineyards, and other crops—something the team at Séka Hills Olive Mill and Winery knows well. With grapes from their property, they make several varieties of wine, and their 82 acres of arbequina olive trees allow the onsite olive mill to turn out 3.5 tons of organic olive oil every hour, enough to coat all the complimentary bread baskets in the state. These two specialties, along with wildflower honey, take center stage inside Séka's tasting room, where guests pair the wine, oil, and honey with other regional foods.
