I had a few injuries, neck and knee, I requested lighter pressure but I had to continually ask for her to go lighter, which in turn was not relaxing at all. It wasn't a good deep pressure when she was going deep, it was more like she thought it is GOOD to hurt someone to heal them. A massage is to release tension that is already there, too much pain will only make the client tense up more (I am a massage therapist myself so I know). She was also contorting my leg with no actual purpose which hurt my knee injury. In the end I asked for a receipt for the groupon amount so I can claim it but she said I don't get one. I was so disappointed I just left, I do not remember the therapists name.
