What You'll Get
Athleticism is more than dodging projectiles, wrangling mascots, and drop-kicking a computer after it beats you in chess. Outfit yourself for adventure with today's Groupon: for $25, you get $50 worth of Sessions-brand winter outerwear and accessories at Sessions Winter Sale, located on Soquel Avenue in Santa Cruz. The sale runs Fridays–Sundays from November 25 to December 24.
Sessions' adventuresmiths descend on Santa Cruz with an innovative line of outerwear at prices discounted by up to 70%. Downwardly mobile shoppers can bedeck themselves in Sessions' snowboard and ski jackets for men, women, and children ($75+), which free up shivering arms for vital tasks that include balancing on one foot or conducting an orchestra of snowy owls.
Sessions' envelope-pushing winter wear incorporates new technology, such as Skull Candy audio systems integrated into outerwear and cuff elevators, and its selection of ski and snowboard pants and ski gloves ($25+) smartly accessorizes outdoorsy outfits. Street wear, including beanies ($10), awaits skaters and undercover cops attempting to bust black-market hacky-sack rings.
The sale supports Foster Children of Santa Cruz County with a holiday gift-drop. Bring a new, unwrapped gift for children younger than 17 and you'll be entered in a raffle to win a Sessions jacket.
The Fine Print

Sessions founder Joel Gomez embraced snowboarding back in the 1980s, when ski resorts were still turning boarders away from their slopes. Joel, already an avid skateboarder and surfer, wanted to throw himself into this new sport, and in 1983 he opened up one of the first shops dedicated to snowboarding in the United States. Like snowboarding itself, Sessions grew into an international venture, providing warm outerwear from brands such as d3o and Recco for snowboarders to wear as they carve up slopes or relax in a freezing-cold tub of water. Their collection of apparel, which includes insulated pants, softshell jackets, and boarding accessories, features both muted and vibrant colors inspired by skating culture and punk rock music.
