What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Set The Barre is a dance school that will expand your knowledge in performing arts and a place to allow you to bond with the community in a non competitive environment. We offer classes to all ages in Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop and Tap.
What equipment is provided? Is there anything visitors need to bring?
Ballet /Lyrical Students - Leotard and Ballet slippers of your choice Jazz/Hip Hop Students - Comfy attire you can move in and Black Jazz shoes of your choice ( Beginner students may use sneakers if they have only been used indoors) Tap Students - Black Tap shoes of your choice
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
A safe place where our students can go to learn about the preforming arts and receive individual attention to set and accomplish there own personal goals. Encouraging our community to dance more and to do it affodably so that everyone in the community feels welcomed.
What do you love most about your job?
I love bonding with my students. I love that I get to know them as individuals and as dancers as well as learn about there families and where they come from. Also, I love to see there progression through out the year as dancers and as people in the community.
