Bob and Patty Braniecki's restaurant careers managed to lead them to New York, Virginia, and Florida before the couple finally landed in Tennessee. They decided to lay down roots in Seymour and although their moving days were over, their restaurant days were not. At Seymour Grille, the Branieckis offer a menu of classic home cooking that includes familiar staples like thick-cut meatloaf, slow-simmered chicken with hand-rolled dumplings, and fried green tomatoes breaded with spicy batter. With rib-sticking meals so readily available, it takes foresight to save room for some of Patty's signature desserts—banana pudding and cheesecake to name a couple—which are served in mason jars.
