Sunset tours run for about two hours most Mondays through October, while Autumn local history tours run for about two hours on most Saturdays – check the calendar for dates and times. For both tours, passengers depart from downtown Sausalito on the Freda B, a classic 78-foot, gaff-rigged coastal schooner, for a two-hour cruise along the bay. As the sun sets over the Golden Gate Bridge, the sunset tour delights passengers with landmarks such as the Marin Headlands, Coit Tower, Alcatraz, and Angel Island. The local history tour offers many of the same sights along with stories of the people, the water, and the land that made San Francisco Bay what it is today. Patrons may also purchase drinks from a cash-only bar located on the dock and deck.
