Shadowland’s menu is split between small and large plates. On the small side are the charred octopus (with white beans and roasted tomato, $9) and The Cassie, a house-staple mac 'n' cheese with New York cheddar ($9). For those with insatiable appetites, the large plate pork loin (with creamy faro, fig jus, and bloomsdale spinach, $18) or the popular okroy wagyu cheeseburger with jarlsberg cheese (a brag-worthy burger, $13) is worth an attempt.

For a liquid adventure, check out Shadowland's vast cocktail menu. Sink into the evening with a farmer tini or a Prosecco cosmo, if the sparkling mojito or smoky martini don’t catch your eye first.

Head to Shadowland on Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. for the Starlite Songwriter’s showcase, where live music will provide the metronome for your chewing and sipping. When you’re finally ready to take that night out to relax and feast with good company, Shadowland will be ready to take you in and envelop you in the cool reward of its sun-stifled aura.
