Choose Between Two Options

  • $44 for an eight-class level-1 introductory yoga series ($88 value)
  • $64 for a pass for one month of unlimited classes ($130 value)

SHAKTI holds classes twice weekly for the eight-class series, introducing the 53 postures of Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga in the course of a month. They also broach the philosophy behind yogic exercise to help students achieve calm minds on and off the mat.

In standard Baptiste classes, instructors pick up the pace, completing all 53 asanas in a mere 90 minutes. SHAKTI Yoga—created by studio founder Lisa Black—blends meditation and chants with inversion postures and dynamic, creative movements as students expend calories in a comfortably heated, 90-degree room.

About SHAKTI Vinyasa Yoga

From a six-month journey across the Indian subcontinent to graduating as one of the first yogis ever to be certified by Baptiste yoga creator, Baron Baptiste, there’s seldom been a dull moment in Lisa Black’s 12-year history with yoga. She even invented her own style of yogic practice called SHAKTI Vinyasa yoga in 2003. With the help of a fleet of instructors that she personally certified, she brings her wealth of experience to each class she teaches through SHAKTI Vinyasa Yoga’s studio locations.

All locations provide a venue for renowned yogis to visit and hold workshops while passing or levitating through town. The brightly lit, hardwood-floored rooms have hosted such experts as Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea, and Ana Forrest.
