Q:

Can you accommodate someone in a wheelchair at the hibachi table? We would have a party of four including one with a wheelchair.

Linda C.  asked on  Dec 7, 2012

A:

Yes, they can seat someone in a wheel at the hibachi table.

Q:

For the $75 groupon, is it basically like a gift card worth $75 towards the two Hibachi meals and taken off the final bill including the 18% gratuity? for example, the total meal costs $60 + 18% gratuity = $70.80. There would be NO out of pocket expense for this correct? Likewise if the total bill including gratuity comes to $100, $75 is simply taken off correct? Sorry if this is confusing, but the fine print isn't so clear.

Michael B.  asked on  Dec 7, 2012

A:

Sorry for the confusion! For the $36 Groupon, it is valid specifically for two hibachi meals. If you order other items you'll pay for them separately.

Q:

Do you have Gluten Free options?

Vikki F.  asked on  Dec 5, 2012

A:

Shanghai Ichiban can certainly accommodate your requests for gluten free options, but your food will not be cooked in front of you, rather it will be cooked in the back to ensure there is no cross-contamination. I hope this helps, Vikki.

Q:

Is the "up to $75" only applicable to the Hibachi meals all towards the full bill to the extent that will allow us to use it towards appetizers if our order of Hibachi is less than $75?

Raquel S.  asked on  Dec 5, 2012

A:

Hello, Raquel. Diners who choose the hibachi meal begin with a selection of starter courses while watching the chef prepare their steak, fish, lobster, or scallops. Combo meals are also available.

Q:

We have a reservation for this Saturday (12/8), there are 10 in our party but we will do separate checks (in pairs). Does the deal go into effect/begin on a certain date or is it immediately? And can each of the 5 couples use one of these coupons since we're paying separately?

Stacy C.  asked on  Dec 4, 2012

A:

You can start using your Groupon the same day that you purchase it, unless stated otherwise in the Fine Print section on the deal page. There is a limit 1 per table or 2 for tables of 4 or more.
