Shaolin Temple Torrance
Wang Bo, a Shaolin monk, practices a martial art steeped in a truly ancient tradition— its foundation lies in a Buddhist temple founded some 1,500 years ago. He focuses his lessons around the same philosophies taught at that first temple, but that doesn't stop him from adapting some of his lessons for modern-day audiences as well. In addition to kung fu, he and his staff also teach a unique style of yoga, Hungrymonk yoga, invented by Wang Bo himself. It combines some of the meditations of kung fu, the fluid movements of tai chi, and the flexibility training of yoga into a single class.
