After biking through the verdant, hilly terrain of the Shenandoah Valley, tour groups of eight bikers refuel with beer flights at a local tavern. Three-hour tours conclude at lunch, which usually includes a deli sandwich and chips, whereas full-day tours carry on after the meal.
Trips begin at 10 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday starting after Memorial Day (May 27) until the weekend before Labor Day (August 31–September 1). Patrons are free to bring their own bikes if they don’t wish to ride on the provided rental.<p>

Each begins with a basic introduction to mountain biking before groups embark on trails that range from easy gravel roads and packed dirt and single-track trails to more advanced and rugged trails with steep slopes, bumpy roads, and scattered mud patches, resulting in rides that teach shifting, breaking, body position, and adjusting riding to new obstacles.
