Q:

I am thinking about the eye liner procedure. Is there some kind of recovery time after the procedure is performed? Swelling? Redness? etc. Thanks, CK

Cathy  asked on  Mar 9, 2013

A:

Hi Cathy, Immediately after the process you will feel like youve had a good cry. There may be some swelling that lasts a few days. It really depends on how much we do. If we do a thicker eyeliner obviously the swelling will be more so, a thinner eyeliner not so much. Typically eyes are the quickest to heal. Sherry

Q:

Does one session for upper and lower eyes complete the process or are more sessions needed to get the best results?

Barbara S.  asked on  Mar 9, 2013

A:

Hi Barbra, I would say about 50% of the people getting eyeliner come back for more because they were conservative in the beginning or maybe some came off in the healing process. There is a $50 setup fee if you need to come back and that price is good anywhere between 4 weeks and 6 months. Sherry

Q:

I've had my eyebrows done before, and the permanent make-up artist was also a nurse, so she injected lidocaine into the brows to numb the area before she did the work. Do you numb lips, eyelids, etc. and if so, how?

Suzy B.  asked on  Mar 9, 2013

A:

Hi Suzy, I use a prescription strength topical gel to numb the areas which are very effective. In my Murrieta office I work with an RN who can also give you a dental block if your getting lips done, but there is an additional $50 charge for her service. Sherry

Q:

Once it's done, how long is recovery time? I wear contacts and I was wondering how long would I have to be without wearing my contact lenses?

Herminia M.  asked on  Mar 8, 2013

A:

Hi Herminia, The recovery time for eyeliner can be anywhere from a day to 3 days usually, depending on how much we do. Immediately after the procedure your eyes will feel like youve had a good cry and fee la little irritated. Its best to keep your contacts out for the rest of that day to let your eyes rest. Sherry
