Sorry for the confusion! Currently, our system accepts major credit or debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We are unable to accept a Flex Spending account as payment.

Q:

Does your practice offer any sort of payment plan for those of us who don't have $2500 lying around? It's still a great deal, and thanks for putting it up.

August A.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

Very sorry, but Groupons do need to be paid for in full in one transaction.

Q:

Do you perform iLASIK procedure and is it included in this Groupon?

Angel D.  asked on  Sep 18, 2012

A:

Yes, Absolutely I perform I-LASIK. However, there is an additional fee for this procedure. If you purchase the Groupon and pay the additional fee there is still a substantial discount over what we normally charge for I-LASIK. This Groupon includes microkeratome LASIK, PRK, LASEK, or Conductive Keratoplasty (CK) at no additional charge.

Q:

i have -11 and -10 on my eyes, nearsighted. i was told recently that it might take two surgeries to fix it. in case i need two surgeries to completely get rid off contacts , will this deal cover both surgeries?

Jamal A.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

Jamal: Dr. Sheth is a cornea specialist as well as an accomplished surgeon. There are a number of ways to correct the vision of a person with a high degree of myopia such as yourself. Your condition may not be correctable with a single LASIK procedure, however the value of your GROUPON would remain. In fact there are other procedures such as ICL which may prove to be more valuable for you. This option and more can be discussed when you schedule your consultation with Dr. Sheth.

Nelson H.  from  Merchant  replied on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

Several options are possible like LASIK, PRK, phakic IOL, or refractive lens exchange. Some of these options may require an additional fee. We wouldn't plan for two consecutive LASIK surgeries or PRK surgeries. With an exceptionally low frequency, sometimes enhancements, retreatments, or touch ups are needed and would not be included in the price of this promotion.

Q:

I do not qualify for Lasic but was told I would quality for Phakic IOL surgery. Does this groupon cover that surgery as well or only LASIK surgery? Thanks.

Theresa H.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

Even with the up charge for the phakic IOL, by purchasing the Groupon, you will still get a substantial discount from what we charge normally.

Q:

is lazy eye with 20-40 and the eye appearing to be not centered correctable

len m.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

Until you have a consultation we cannot ascertain whether you are a candidate or not. We are also offering PRK Surgery as well (which is included in this offer) can often be performed successfully with patients whose corneas are too thin or their eyes see other complications for traditional LASIK.

Kyle B.  from  Self  replied on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

There are many variables that are involved in giving you an answer to your question. Yes, it may be possible. But, depends on what your deviation is, how much prescription you have, what your best vision is with and without the prescription, if you have any other conditions that would make you a non-candidate. Other factors like corneal thickness, etc would also be important. As was previously stated, you can purchase the Groupon, schedule the evaluation, if you are not a candidate for the procedures, then a refund will be given.

Q:

I have had an evaluation already at another surgeon and been told I need LASEK as opposed to LASIK. Would LASEK surgery be covered with this groupon?

Sean S.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

LASEK is very similar to PRK. Whether to do LASEK or PRK is generally based on surgeon's preference. But, yes, LASEK, PRK, and LASIK would all be covered with this promotion.

Q:

If you have insurance how does this groupon work in conjunction with it?

Janice A.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

Generally, health insurance will not cover LASIK or PRK, with few exceptions. Laser vision correction usually is an out-of-pocket expense.
