What You'll Get

Voice actors can communicate complex feelings in seconds, unlike supercomputers, which require volumes of binary coding just to express simple disdain. Succeed where the machines failed with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $69 for a two-hour Intro to Voiceover workshop (a $145 value)

Designed for students aged 8–16, the Intro to Voiceover workshop takes place Sunday at 1:30 p.m. The vocal coaches will assess students’ voices and offer recommendations for how best to use their talents and tones. The course provides a glimpse at the inner workings of professional voice recording for commercials, radio, promos, and those devices that translate what dogs are saying.

  • $95 for a three-hour Intro to Animation workshop (a $200 value)

Teachers showcase the stop-motion animation program Dragonframe, the software behind such dazzling animated fantasies as ParaNorman and Frankenweenie in classes geared for 9- to 16-year-olds and held Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

The next date for the animation workshop is March 2 and the next date for the voiceover workshop is March 3; additional sessions will be held each Saturday and Sunday through May.
