Shobu serves up fresh sushi, including the screaming orgasm maki ($10.95), a seared tuna and radish number bundled with S.O. sauce, and the Mexico City ($7.95), a spicy shrimp and crab combo topped by avocado with yumyum sauce. About Shobu

Within the five private karaoke rooms of Shobu Sake House, guests serenade audiences of comrades reclined on couches with the dulcet tones of contemporary pop songs until 3 a.m. seven days a week. The smaller karaoke spaces accommodate up to 6 singers, whereas the larger lounges fit up to 12. Elsewhere, chefs behind the sushi bar whip up a variety of hand rolls, cut rolls, and cooked rolls, ranging from the lightly battered and fried california to the Caterpillar, which transforms into a butterfly when topped with wasabi.
