Choose Between Two Options
- $59 for a Utah concealed-firearm-permit class (a $125 value)
- $79 for Utah concealed-firearm-permit class and a 30-minute range session with instruction, a rental gun, 50 rounds, and two targets (a $170.50 value)<p>
The four-hour course covers the fundamentals of firearm handling and safety, as well as Utah and federal firearm laws and regulations. Students who successfully complete the course receive a certificate, a Utah concealed-firearm-permit application, and a copy of the course material. An extra $51 check or money order made out to Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification is required for students who plan on applying for their nonresident Utah permit. The Utah concealed-firearm permit has reciprocity with up to 34 states, depending on if the permit holder is a Utah resident. Classes are available Monday and Tuesday from 5—9 p.m. and Saturday—Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m.

Within Connecticut Firearms Training's classroom, NRA-certified and ex-military instructors teach firearm fundamentals, including a Basic Pistol Safety session and private classes in pistols, rifles, and shotguns. The range also hosts special events—including a half-priced ladies' night—and its onsite retail center sells firearms, gun-cleaning supplies, and other accessories.
