Classes are held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 5:30 a.m., 7 a.m., and 6:30 p.m. Groups meet on the east side of South Weddington Park, across the street from the Universal Studios building.

Show Me the Fitness Boot Camp’s certified personal trainer, Eduardo Dias, distills more than 15 years of fitness experience and an infectious enthusiasm for exercise into one-hour boot-camp classes. Participants gather in the verdant confines of South Weddington Park for morning or evening sessions, during which Eduardo motivates students through the dynamic routines with positivism and camaraderie rather than intimidating groups into participation the way many boot-camp instructors do—by throwing daggers. Biceps bulge and burn as they heave dumbbells and weighted balls, and heart rates hasten during well-aimed hops betwixt the rungs of agility ladders. Resistance and core training can also bolster tummies for upcoming close-range cannonball-catching tournaments. Eduardo strives to torch unwanted fat and tighten the muscles of each client by the end of the program.

Wish I had the motivation to keep getting up at 5:00a.m. as it is a great class. And, I have the kids the rest of the day. Hope to get a couple more in.
