When Sublime's original frontman Bradley Nowell died in 1996 from a heroin overdose, the band's final album had not yet been released, and Nowell would not live to see the monumental success of "What I Got," "Wrong Way" and "Santeria." Sublime's reggae-inflected ska punk dominated radio airwaves the year after Nowell's death, and the band's music still sounds as fresh and breezy today as it did in the '90s. You can revisit those hits when Sublime tribute band 40oz to Freedom comes to The Cave in Big Bear. Named after Sublime's 1992 debut album, 40 oz. to Freedom won 2010's San Diego Music Award for Best Tribute Band.
