Mike was awesome! My kids had a blast.

2,500-acre family farm with monster swamp-buggy rides and more than 50 varieties of naturally grown citrus fruits

Monster-truck drivers toughen up their vehicles by emblazoning them with flames, skulls, and the scariest thing of all—a lion. Hear the roar of engines with this Groupon.

Choose from Four Options

  • $20 for a 60-minute monster-truck off-road eco tour for 2 adults (a $40 value)
  • $38 for the tour for 4 adults (an $80 value)
  • $5 for the tour for 1 child (a $10 value)
  • $99 for a two-hour party package for up to 10 kids and 10 adults (a $200 value)

As the birthday child takes the monster truck's wheel, party attendees take a private tour, then receive access to the fishing pier, seasonal petting zoo, playground, and band stage (band not included). Adult-ticket holders get 50% off a 5-pound bag of citrus of their choice. Children's tickets are valid for ages 4–12; kids aged 3 and younger receive free admission to the tour.

    Showcase of Citrus

On Friday and Saturday evenings, it’s not uncommon to hear Johnny Cash tunes echoing across Showcase of Citrus farm’s 2,500 acres as members of the Arnold family shake off another satisfying workweek with their friends and customers. When not singing loud in the family circle, fourth-generation growers John and Julie Arnold and their four sons can usually be found tending to their heads of cattle, strolling through their groves of orange trees, or collecting eggs from their organic chickens.

As they grow more than 50 varieties of citrus and helm swamp tours in a tiger-striped monster school bus, the Arnolds commit themselves to keeping the environment healthy. Fruit is produced on the farm without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or magic beans, which helps to ensure a habitable environment for the cranes, macaws, coyotes, wild turkeys, raccoons, fox squirrels, and alligators that are sometimes spotted on tours.

This place is such a hidden gem. It’s completely free to enter, and you only pay for what you want to do — whether that’s feeding the animals, taking the monster truck safari ride, or doing one of their special experiences. The setup is super family-friendly and laid-back, and there’s so much to see just walking around. We did the capybara meet-and-greet ($15 per person), which was absolutely worth it. You get to go right inside their enclosure, feed them, and pet them — they’re ridiculously cute and friendly. Between the animals, the fun photo ops, and the relaxed vibe, this place is an easy 10/10 for a spontaneous day trip.
