Syracuse Wine About Winter Festival

By January, cold weather is in full swing. Rather than complain, combat the winter doldrums with a visit to Syracuse Wine About Winter Festival on Saturday, January 14. Hosted by the Regional Market’s F Shed, the third annual festival features live music, games, a painting party, grape stomping, and, of course, plenty of wine. The vino includes reds and whites from numerous area wineries, with past participants including Thousand Islands Winery, Heron Hill Winery, and Coyote Moon Vineyards. For those who prefer beer, there’s also a selection of craft brews available. Regardless of the libations attendees sample, however, they’ll take home a commemorative glass.

Customer Reviews

I think that if you didn't have the groupon, you paid too much. I wish there had been more local breweries and wineries. I wish there had been more food. The food vendors they did have - hot sauce - amazing - edible arrangements - awesome. Popcorn was good - but there should have been more than just the convention center providing food and the food they were providing didn't really seem cohesive with the event.

What a great time!!

Fun gathering but pricy for the experience unless you had a deal. Many of the merchants were out of town, would think Rochester would want to promote more local businesses to participate.
