Art can portray the world’s most complex subjects: the passion of love, the horrors of war, and the despair of fruit waiting to be eaten. Hold a mirror to nature with today’s Groupon: for $12, you get a meal for two at café @ artspace (a $24 value). Meals include the following:

  • Two entrees (up to an $18 value)
  • One dessert (a $3 value)
  • Two drinks (a $3 value)</p>

Ingredient whisperers at café @ artspace adorn tummy canvases with freshly prepared fare, which guests savor surrounded by art exhibits and items for purchase crafted by local artisans. Talented cooks can transform all sandwiches, such as the pesto chicken with spinach and mozzarella, into wraps with nothing more than their wits and doctorates in magic. Turkey Reubens flaunt thinly sliced pastrami, swiss cheese, kraut, and dijon mustard mounded atop marbled rye, and The Fox in Sheep’s Clothing spins a gyro-like web by layering lamb’s meat with crisp romaine and fresh tzatziki sauce. Dessert specials round out each duo’s eating excursion, with whoopee pies satisfying the FDA’s recommended quotas of cream and nostalgia.

Housed within artspace, an innovative center dedicated to sharing and producing art, the cafe makes an ideal location for casual conversation or quiet contemplation of free WiFi. In the center’s gift space, eyes digest a diorama of creativity shared by more than 50 local artists in the form of paintings, sculptures, books, music, jewelry, scarves, and handbags. In addition to purchaseable works, artists explore various themes in rotating exhibits such as the recent Art of the Road, wherein the historical journey of motorcycles unfolds through sculptures and resentful monologues by stationary bicycles.

Customer Reviews

I'm not sure that this restaurant is still in business but I did not redeem my voucher before it expired and the owner honored it anyway. The food was great. Great place.
