Sidewalk Food Tours of Los Angeles
The folks behind Sidewalk Food Tours of Los Angeles visited countless restaurants, food stalls, and bakeries before devising their itinerary, which features the dishes that made their taste buds sing loud enough to earn a record deal. Their tours now include stops at seven places ranging from Horse Thief Barbecue in Grand Central Market to taco-joint Guisados to a diner that serves as a bright spot on the otherwise dreary Skid Row.
While traveling to the various eateries, guides tell tales of Los Angeles's history and film industry. They also pause at such locales as the Bradbury Building and Biltmore Hotel. Their goal is to show visitors another side of LA beyond Hollywood and Beverly Hills, where streets are said to glitter from all the sequins that have fallen off award-show gowns.
