First concocted thousands of years ago, the versatile, wine-like beverage combines fermented sugars found in honey with bouquets of fragrant herbs, spices, and fruits. At their facility in historic Williamsburg, the mead makers carry on this traditional craft, creating mead that ranges from dry to sweet.
