Q:

You answered that initial consultations are Mon-Fri, would it be at all possible to do it on a weekend rather than M-F? I have had laser treatment done, so is it even necessary if this is not possible?

Shella  asked on  Jun 20, 2012

A:

We require all patients to have an initial consultation to determine if they are candidate. We're open late on Tuesdays , hope that helps.

Q:

Do these treatments prevent the hairs from growing back or does it just slow the hair growth? Does it work on fine hair on fair skin?

Leslie R.  asked on  Jun 20, 2012

A:

The laser essentailly destroys the hair follicle in different stages, that is the reason for needing several treatments.

Q:

Is there a doctor on site ? Who operates this laser and are they trained on it ?

Ramneek S.  asked on  Jun 18, 2012

A:

This clinic is owned and operated by an ARNP on site, who does all the consults, the treatment is performed by a dermatology nurse.

Q:

I have dark olive skin, and black hair. Will the laser type you have work on my skin type ? What if I purchase the groupon and later find out if its not effective on my skin. Considering getting underarms lasered.

Ramneek S.  asked on  Jun 18, 2012

A:

Your initial consult will determine if you are a candidate, if not you will be refunded by Groupon. We do work on olive skin, it may takes more treatments.

Q:

When are appointments available? I do not want to purchase this groupon if I am never able to make an appointment. Like most others, I work Mon.-Fri. so am hoping you have weekend appointments available?!

Malia R.  asked on  Jun 18, 2012

A:

Your initial consult is done M-F but actual treatment can be done on saturdays or evenings before 6 PM.

Q:

Hello I only need LOWER LEGS done BUT if I were to purchase the "extra large" package for full-legs, would I be able to get my toes done instead of the upper legs? I would think so, as lower-legs-plus-toes would be much faster/easier to treat than full legs. Please let me know. If not, I'll just purchase the "large" deal and worry about my toes later (if I understand you correctly, lower legs are considered a "large" area - not "extra large"). Thank you.

angie e.  asked on  Jun 16, 2012

A:

Yes you can substitute toes for thighs in this case:)

Q:

THANX for the answer. So if I select chin in the smaller area and want to add some more areas when I come to your office. Then how much it will cost?

Damiya  asked on  Jun 17, 2012

A:

It is hard to know how large of an area it would be, it is generally about $1/per pulse(15-18 mm) for extra large areas 50 cents a pulse.

Q:

Hi.I also wanted to ask that does the option (face(sides) and chin) in the smaller area means that treatment will be started from the area adjacent to the ears (side of face) and will cover the area up-till chin? or it only includes the sides and the chin leaving the portion in between them? If I want to have treatment for my lower face (sides till chin, including the lower portion of chin) then which treatment area should I select?

Damiya  asked on  Jun 17, 2012

A:

Please refer to the answer above.

Q:

Hi, I want to select chin and side face in the smaller area. Does the groupon allows me to have the laser treatment of both?Or do I have to select only one?

Damiya  asked on  Jun 17, 2012

A:

Only one allowed, however it will cost efficient to add the other areas to your chin while in the office.

Can the small package be used for eyebrow and/or nose area?

Shadi  asked on  Jun 17, 2012

Nose is Ok, we don't treat eyebrows, too close to the eyes.
