In colonial America, townspeople tried accused witches by sticking their hands into a pot of hot, melted cheese. Later, as breadsticks began being accused of witchcraft, hysterical preachers slowly invented fondue. Relive this tasty bit of American history with today's Groupon: for $25, you get $50 worth of fondue and more at your choice of Simply Fondue location. This Groupon is not valid toward alcohol purchases or any other discounts, promotions, or daily specials. Choose from the following Simply Fondue locations:

Simply Fondue coats customers’ taste buds in a menu of delicious cheese and chocolate fondues, fresh salads, tasty entrees, and more, all crafted daily using ingredients of the highest quality. Experience molten food enhancements with a selection from the list of cheese ($18 for up to two people, $6 per each additional person) or chocolate ($9 per person) fondues grilled right at your table. Diners can subject law-breaking breads, veggies, and fruits to punishment in a pot of traditional Swiss-chalet fondue made from imported gruyere and emmenthaler cheeses, chablis wine, kirschwasser brandy, garlic, and spices; or instead opt for the original milk-chocolate fondue, mixed with walnuts and sweet cream. Meat-eaters' mouth-meters will go off the chart at the sight of the beef-tenderloin plate ($26), which offers an assortment of bacon-wrapped cuts, six pepper-beef pieces, and teriyaki sirloin. Vegetarians, on the other palm, can opt for the spring-vegetable plate ($21), with seasonal veggies piling up like an appetizing arsenal of vitamin bombs.

Simply Fondue employs three different approaches to cook up the perfect meal—a traditional method that uses trans-fat-free canola oil, a brothy vegetable-bouillon concoction, and a house-blended Mediterranean sangria combination—and avoids preservatives and canned goods like the plague or a pushy real-estate agent. Plush black leather booths and intricate chandeliers at the Arlington location add sophistication to an otherwise rowdy night of carousing with cheese and chocolate, and the Fort Worth location provides a similarly intimate atmosphere for Fondzillas rampaging through streets of skewered sustenance.

About Simply Fondue

Simply Fondue's intimate, chandelier-lit dining room plays host to tabletop pots that bubble with warm imported cheeses, oils, and broths. The restaurant's cheese fondues from Switzerland, the Mediterranean, and England allow diners to taste the world's flavors without having to lick every country's flag. The eatery also simmers traditional canola oil fondue and broth fondue. For each entree, chefs pair simmering helpings with platters of meat, seafood, or veggies, all of which can be altered upon request.

Many meals conclude with chocolate fondue, which features an impressive coterie of sweets such as marshmallows, triple-chunk brownies, cookie-dough balls, and fresh pineapple chunks plucked from the hats of local conga dancers. The dining experience stays casual throughout with plush booths and granite table tops.
