Q:

Hello, I currently have bi-focals (top being plain glass, no presc.). I do need an eye exam and I want to get flexable wire frames, something very durable. Is this possible with this promotion? D.G.

Daniel G.  asked on  Sep 14, 2012

A:

We offer different bifocal choices ie(with or without lines). The Groupon offer applies to all complete pair purchases (new frame and new lenses). We also offer flexible frames and these are included in the offer. We can fill any valid eyeglass prescription, or you can get an eye exam with one of our doctors. If you need an exam, then I recommend that you purchase the offer with the exam included.

Q:

I don't need new frames - can I apply the coupon for lenses only?

Lanny B.  asked on  Sep 14, 2012

A:

The Groupon offer is for a complete pair of eyeglasses. This includes a new frame with new lenses. If your frame is in good shape, we can change the lenses to your new prescription at a special price when ordered with the Groupon offer.

Q:

Hi. Two questions. Do I need an eye exam from you in order to purchase the lenses or can I bring in my current prescription from my eye doctor? Second, I wear bifocals and would like to get them in sunglasses. Would this be included in the deal and is it reasonable to think that I could purchase a pair of sunglasses for around or slightly above $200? Thank you!

Liz P.  asked on  Sep 13, 2012

A:

1-You can bring in any valid prescription for us to fill. 2-For sunglasses, they are included in the deal with the exception of Maui Jim or Oakleys. You didn't mention whether your prescription was for single vision or bifocals. Depending on the price of the frame, it's very possible to purchase a good pair of sunglasses in the price range that you mentioned.

Q:

Can this groupon be used along with one's health insurance?

robert d.  asked on  Sep 11, 2012

A:

This offer is independent of any insurance. It cannot be combined. Most people use the Groupon for one pair and their insurance for a different pair.

Q:

I need to have an exam for contact lenses (which I already have - I'm nearsighted, but I can't read as well now with my contacts in) and I need to get a new pair of glasses (the ones I have are over 10 years old and no longer match my contact lenses prescription). How much would it cost me for a contact lens eye exam, 6 months of contacts (currently I wear Acuvue Oasys), eye glass eye exam, and new glasses (I realize this depends on the frames I choose - if I picked a $225 pair of frames, are there other charges)? Is it worth it for me to do the groupon? Sorry to be so detailed, but I don't have insurance, so I'm trying to find the best deal I can. Thank you. Marianne 818-314-9088 mruane68@yahoo.com

Q:

I want to be sure I can get a complete set of glasses with teh deal. I pay $35. and get up to $200. for glasses. Can you get frames and lens for $200. or less at this eye establishment?

teresa m.  asked on  Sep 11, 2012

A:

Theresa: Our frames start at $119 and basic single vision lenses plastic lenses start at $89. If you select these, then the total would be $208. If you purchase the $200 option, then your out of pocket at our store would be $8.
