Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

Would this offer apply to a contact lens exam and purchasing contact lens?

Rachel D.  asked on  Feb 28, 2013

A:

The offer does not apply to a contact lens exam or contact lenses, however, if the $49 option is purchased, the eye exam portion can be used and it would leave you financially responsible for the contact lens fitting fee and evaluation. This portion starts at $70 for standard spherical contact lenses. We do sell contact lenses but they are not covered by the Groupon feature.

More Questions and Answers

Q:

So if I use the groupon towards a contact lens exam, is it $49 applied to a $70 exam (meaning I pay an additional $21) OR I pay $49 PLUS $70 for the exam?

Silvia P.  asked on  Mar 4, 2013

A:

The $49 buys you an eye exam plus $225 towards a complete pair of Rx eyeglasses. The additional cost to upgrade it for a contact lens exam and fitting is $70 for standard spherical contact lenses.

Q:

Confused....If my lenses will be at least $129 and say I pick frames valued at $200 ...do I look at it like $329 total and minus $225 from the Groupon...so I will end up paying a balance, too ($124)????

Michelle A.  asked on  Mar 1, 2013

A:

$129 is the price for single vision polycarbonate lenses. Yes, you are correct that if you choose a frame for $200 and $129 for lenses, then the regular price would be $329. With the $225 Off, then you'd pay the difference ($104) at the time of purchase.
