Q:

I recently went to the class of resorative yoga for those with an illness. I have not been to Sisters before that in 8 plus months. Can I purchase your groupon special? Thank you, Pam

Pamela J.  asked on  Feb 7, 2013

A:

Hi Pamela, I'm sorry , but it is for New Clients or if you have not used services in the last year. It has to be at least 12 months since you've been in. Due to the amount of requests, to honor Groupons of customers who have been in in the last year, I feel it's best to stick with the rules stated in the fine print.

Q:

I recently (approx. 5 months ago) had knee surgery, and am doing pretty well, but I am not able to straighten it all the way yet!! I have never taken a yoga class, but would like to - do you recommend I take a yoga class, and/or which class/es would you recommend. Thanks so much.

Chris B.  asked on  Feb 7, 2013

A:

Hi! I would definitely check with your doctor first. The beauty of yoga is that you are listening to your body and staying within your own limits. If you decide to purchase the Groupon, when you come in I would definitely let your instructor know that you are recovering from surgery. If there are any poses that you should avoid they will let you know. I suggest starting with the Chill Out or Go with the Flow (gentle vinyasa). I hope I have answered your question.

Q:

When are the classes offered and is there room to attend or is space limited?

Dina S.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

A:

Hello, You can view our schedule online at www.sistersyoga.com. There is usually room, but class size is limited to 18 for Chillout and 20 for Hot Chicks, Happy Hour, and Go with the Flow. You can sign in ahead of time to reserve your spot if youd like.

Q:

I've never taken yoga but I do workout regularly. I've always wanted to try the hot class do you recommend that a person have experience before trying this class?

Charlotte J.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

A:

Hi Charlotte! All of our classes are mixed levels. So it doesn't matter if you are new. I would let the instructor know you have no yoga experience. Since you already workout you should be fine. If you didn't workout regularly I'd recommend you start with our our Chillout or Go with the Flow, before jumping into the Hot Chicks class, sometimes the heated room can be a little much for someone who isn't used to working out. hope to see you around the studio.
