This intense, Tony-winning drama is set largely within an interrogation room in an unnamed totalitarian state, in which a fiction writer is being questioned by police. The authorities suspect him of committing a series of child murders that are strikingly similar to the gruesome crimes described in his short stories. But there are plenty of unexpected twists and turns to come in this dark and suspenseful tale, which also contains some signature moments of black comedy from famed Irish playwright Martin McDonagh.
