Lip Neutralization treatment is a unique and gradual process that works to both even out lip tones as well as brighten.
Dark Lip neutralization is a specialized treatment series for those with cool or dark lip in which we neutralize the darkness in the lips to reach a desired color. We look at your lips and neutralize them by cancelling out the original color.
It may take 2-4 sessions to achieve your look and there are special cases in which additional sessions are needed. Typically, dark lip neutralization in those who are Fitzpatrick Scale 4 and up.
Getting PMU lips is not safe for you:
If you are under 18
Pregnant or Nursing
Undergoing Chemotherapy
Have hemophilia
Have major heart problems or a pacemaker
Have had an organ transplant
Have uncontrolled high blood pressure
Have diabetes (Must have written approval from your doctor)
Have Psoriasis, eczema, rosacea or another skin condition in the area
Have an autoimmune disease (must have written approval form your doctor)
Have anemia (pigment may not be retained properly)
History of cold sores
Take blood thinning medications
Take Accutane or Steroids
If you are prone to cold sores, lip tattooing can cause an outbreak.
We ask that our clients take their prescribed anti-viral medication a few days prior to their appointment, day of appointment and after the procedure to prevent
any cold sores.
If you have an outbreak, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. Please provide us with as much notice as possible. See cancelation policy (located at bottom of the page) for more details.
During the consultation:
You will meet the artist who will be doing your treatment, during the consultation you will meet the artist that will be doing your treatment.
Discuss the look you want.
You must disclose any condition that you may have and let the artist decide if its safe for you to get the treatment.
Complete a patch test, that will reveal any potential allergies to pigments.
And receive Pre -care instructions and products.
Consultation fee will be deducted from your procedure fee if you schedule your treatment during consultation.
