Q:

would this include zapping a spider vein by my nose?

Deborah W.  asked on  Mar 26, 2013

A:

That would be the IPL treatment, but you could use this groupon for that procedure.

Q:

I am a 60 ish grandmother and would like to know if being on blood thinners poses any issues with fractional laser resurfaceing treatment, and is there any advance preparation required for the procedure. Can the required consultation be done the same day as the first treatment since I live 4 hours away.

Bernie S.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

You can do the treatment the same day as the consult, but you should be off blood thinners for at least one week.

Q:

I would like to have my face and neck done. Will this Groupon cover those areas? or will I need to purchase more services from your office to cover the neck area.....and most importantly how much would that cost? Also I would like to reduce lines but also have lots of freckles on my face and chest. Will Fractional Laser Resurfacing help some with the freckles or will I need to have the IPL procedure also? If I need both in what sequence should I have the procedures and how much would the IPL cost? Thanks for your help!

Lizabeth D.  asked on  Mar 21, 2013

A:

Face and neck are considered two separate areas. IPL treatments will treat sun damage, but it won't lift freckles if you are born with them.

Q:

My daughter is bi-racial (Afro-European.) She has has a beautiful coffee with lots of cream complexion. She has some some darkened spots on her cheeks where she had pimples.........how would this treatment likely work for her? Also, I would like to work on the skin of my neck. It's getting a little crepey. Is this treatment a good solution? What are the potential 'side effects' for my daughter and me?

Julie D.  asked on  Mar 20, 2013

A:

It would be best to come in for a consultation. The crepiness of the neck will tighten with the resurfacing and your daughter's condition can be treated with either this laser as well, or perhaps one or two others we use in our clinic. It would be best for you to have Dr Ross take a look at her situation in person

Q:

I'm gathering from the question above that it may take a few times to get results. Is that right?

Christine E.  asked on  Mar 20, 2013

A:

Yes it is possible that it may take more than one treatment to acheive the results you are looking for. We do however give a client who has had the groupon for their first treatment a substantial break on consecutive treatments that are needed for you.

Q:

I have already had Fractional Laser Resurfacing on my face. I did not have it on my neck or the rest of my body. I don't have stretch marks. Can I use this for removing age spots on my body? Thank you! Kathy Scott Perry

Kathy S.  asked on  Mar 19, 2013

A:

Hi the laser we would use for age spots is and IPL laser. The Fraxell works more for fine lines, wrinkling, scarring, Used to improve elasticity of the skin.
