Do you offer your customers any extra perks?
There is always coffee and tea available. Much of the reading material is made up of brochures and magazines from the skincare industry.
What is one fun, unusual fact about your business?
_Skin Logic is all about the client and we make it fun and light-hearted. We know that taking care of your skin need not be complicated so we make it simple, reliable, and relaxing for the customer. Most people don't know that the name Skin Logic is all about representing a serious interest in your skin—a "logical" approach that is tailored to the individual. Skin Logic is serious about being intelligent when it comes to which modality to use on each person. We analyze each person and each situation each time, and listen to your needs because they can change from visit to visit.
Our services include many things that other spas charge extra for—for example, the ultrasonic exfoliation, hi-frequency, and extractions are always included at no extra charge._
What steps do you take to make your clients feel at ease?
We often ask [clients], "If you could wave a magic wand, and make your skin become anything you would like, what would that look like to you?" We often get a chuckle and it breaks the ice. Then I ask what is the most important outcome they would like to have over time and what would they like to focus on "today." It gives me a starting point. If they are a new customer, I realize they don't know if they can trust me yet. If they can see improvement on the one thing that is most important to them, they have felt that I heard them and they believe I have something more to offer them. I want them to know that we care, truly care. We are not just another spa.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
We make recommendations on future services, packages of services bundled for savings, and on the best home care regime. If [clients] have products at home to use up, we explain which products are best and look for holes in their current regimen. If we have samples, we offer those to take home. And we also have something we call Club Logic [that offers] discounts on products and services every month.
