Q:

Can you undergo this procedure if you are a Diabetic Type 1? Also if you only have one toe that is discolored, is that the only indicator of infection? I am asking because if it is possible it is on another toe, I would like to buyer the correct voucher.

Stacey P.  asked on  Apr 17, 2012

A:

Hi there! As you know diabetics can have complications while healing. Especially as it concerns the feet. You will need to obtain a release from your doctor to get the treatment. Why don't you work this out and call give us a call. You can either purchase the Groupon now or call us later and we will honor the price. If more then one toe is infected you want to treat all of the toes. Reinfection of the toe is likely. Thanks Lisa

Q:

How many touch ups can be bought after the original purchase? My husband has had nail fungus (on both feet) for many years and has tried many prescription topical treatments (and a pill too), and it's still there! He might need more than 2 visits per foot. Also does the "touch up" have to be purchased at the time of the first treatment if he wants the $25 deal?

Julie H.  asked on  Apr 17, 2012

A:

You're always welcome to return to a business after using a Groupon. This deal only allows one purchase per person, but you husband can simply use this service for full price from Skin Matters after redeeming his Groupon.

Q:

Both of my feet are likely to need more than one visit. I can use the group on offer for 1 visit but how much will the additional visit cost? I saw the groupon offer saying the touch up visit cost $25 per foot. Can you clarify please?

Shelley H.  asked on  Apr 17, 2012

A:

Hi there Shelley! If you purchase the deal for two feet that is one visit. If you need a touch up, since you bought the deal, you are entitled to one more visit that will only cost you $25 per foot. This whole process will take you about 6 months. Join our mailing list and we will let you know when we have another deal during that time period. Hopefully you won't need more then even one!!!

Q:

I have problems on both feet, one is not bad but the other one is. If a repeat visit(s) are required the additional $25.00 is that per foot or per visit? Also how long is the $25 touch up good for? Meaning if 6 months or a year after the treatment there is a problem will I pay $25 or will it be full price?

William P.  asked on  Apr 17, 2012

A:

Hi there William! The $25 discount is for one additional treatment per foot purchased. The voucher is good for a year. You will know whether or not you need another treatment in about 2 to 3 months after the initial treatment. The desired end point is for the nail bed to start growing out clear. If infection is still indicated an additional treatment will be needed. Many people do not need more then 2 to 3 treatments. Join our mailing list to watch for additional toe fungus specials.

Q:

Does this treatment always work? (I have tried Lamisil, and it was not effective.) Also, the offers expires April 24....does that mean the treatment has to be completed by then or just the deal purchased? Thanks.

Ronald W.  asked on  Apr 17, 2012

A:

Good Morning Ronald! And Everyone! I think everyone with itchy toes has tried Lamisil at some point. It will help with the symptoms, but for many people does not cure their condition. Using laser to treat toe fungus is very effective!!! Most people can eliminate the fungus in one treatment, if their condition is moderate. Severe cases will likely require one or two more treaments. You have a year to use the voucher.
