What was the inspiration to start or run this business? I worked in a high-stress field for 15 years. During that time, I relished every spa visit. I loved the feeling like I was the most important person in a delightfully serene world. When the opportunity arose, I jumped at the chance to create such a world for myself and for others. From that idea, Skinology was born. From offering relaxation to happy hours for those who still live in that high-stress world, I get to share my spa-junkie love to others.
What do you love most about your job? From my first day of school to the very second I type this word, I have loved every single minute of Esthetics. I am fascinated by the science of skin care, and I am regularly amazed at the changes that can be accomplished. I am enthralled by the constantly-evolving nature of this field.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? Columbia Metropolitan magazine recently visited 20 different salons and reviewed 20 different facial treatments. Its review of Skinology was absolutely fantastic! The reviewer noted, "When I looked in the mirror, I was taken back by the progress my skin made in just one session."
