Q:

Do you place a topical numbing agent and how much do you dilute the botox?

A:

They do place ice on the area to help reduce pain. Botox is required to be diluted. The amount of dilution depends on the area that needs to be injected.

Q:

This will be my first time and i would like something light . if 20 units is enough, would you do on my forehead and between eyebrows?

monica  asked on  Feb 27, 2013

A:

Hi Monica, 20 units is a good amount of Botox to start with. However, the number of units in each area would depend on how many fine lines that need to be treated. I always prefer the natural look for my patients and recommend the minimal amount the first time around, and offer them to come back in 2 weeks (which is when you should see the full effect of Botox) for a post op check. Hope that helps!

Q:

Is it possible to separate the 20 units for different areas? Like ten for forehead and ten for crows feet? I don't need all 20 in one spot.

Paige B.  asked on  Feb 27, 2013

A:

Hi Paige, It would be possible to spread the units. However, the number of units in each area varies by how many fine lines you want to treat.
